Implement Reporting Procedures

Reporting procedures are designed for each operating company. Your insurance manual will include:

  • List of RMS personnel who manage your claims
  • List of Insurance Company Offices to report claims
  • Types of claims to be reported and when
  • Procedures for reporting claims

Conduct Claim Reviews
We conduct audits on insurance company files to verify paid and reserved amounts and to guarantee acceptable industry adjustment procedures prior to Renewals or Retro Adjustments. We also review the adjusting and reserving practices of the insurance industry.

Examine all Third Party Losses
We follow the insurance company's adjustment from start to finish to ensure your interests are protected and that a fair and equitable adjustment is rendered.

Subrogation Potential
Commonly referred to as subrogation, we assist you in identifying a third party who may be called on for restitution because of their responsibility for a loss.

Franchise Select's Claims

The founders have established a successful claims management discipline and procedures used for the Franchise Select program. A dedicated claims team is established with the TPA to handle the restaurant incidents. This dedicated team, at the direction of RMS, will focus on the unique reserve practices of franchise food entities. RMS will also assist in establishing a litigation support unit that will spotlight the following third party claims issues for franchise stores:

  • "Food Borne" Product Liability Support - the unit will assist in identifying what indigestion symptoms emanate from an alleged illness.
  • Foreign Objects Arbitration Panel - utilization of a vendors arbitration panel that swiftly tenders claims back to food vendors
  • Legal "Swat" Team - provides lawyers specializing in the media to identify and support all potential media sensitive claims.
